The Let's Talk About Sex awareness project envisions a bright, safe and healthy community in the near future and is working to make that future become the present. We are committed to proactively educating everyone from students to senior citizens, and that means you too! Let's Talk About Sex (LTAS) has tasked itself with bringing you and your loved ones quality education about sex, orientation, gender, quality of life and so much more through our experts who have been hand selected and working to bust myths and gain knowledge about their specific fields.

We design the entire program around the participants' needs by holding focus groups for each and every program before we even start registration. Each program is tailored specifically to the age group so that the participants get the information they need. You can be a part of the education you receive by participating in these focus groups!

We are committed to spreading our wings to include everyone. It is of utmost importance for us to include all the communities to make sure you know that you are not alone.

Main Objective

Participants will gain acceptance of themselves as well as empathy and acceptance of others. These series' are aimed at including participants in their discovery of their bodies as well as their responsibilities to themselves and others. Learners will gain new skills and accurate knowledge with a better understanding about sex and all the facets.

SUB-OBJECTIVES: Participants

Gain the skills required to take precautions to protect themselves and others; to project confidence.

Will be able to demonstrate appropriate behaviours and vocabulary toward someone different from themselves.

Will have increased their comfort level in discussing any/ all topics covered in this series with parents, friends, siblings because they will have gained accurate knowledge and familiarity with sex.

Will be able to use the knowledge about the functions of the genitals to better identify what is happening during ebbs and flows of hormones and their effects on their bodies.

Will be able to react appropriately to their bodies when needed.

They will be clear of myths and taboos to make good choices based on fact and their needs and that of their partner.

They will gain a sense of belonging and freedom of judgment is possible

WHY AGE GROUPS

Every age group requires sensitivity to their psychological and physiological developmental differences in order to absorb the information and in turn apply it to their lives accordingly. Plus all humans fall into one of these and therefore individual identifications and unique expressions are not infringed upon. This also creates a safe environment for all to acquire the information they need.
